After an all-star January LDM SF to remember, Literary Death Match makes it back-to-back months in SF for the first time in, like, forever — this time at Beatbox — with a ridiculously talent-infused lineup, and some of the most entertaining judges we’ve ever seen.
The night’s four readers include San Francisco’s 2002-2006 poet laureate, Devorah Majors (author of Black Bleeds into Green and Amour Verdinia/Verdinia Amour), literary mayhemist Jesus Angel Garcia (author of badbadbad), non-fictionist Laura Barcella (editor of Madonna and Me), and fire-spitting activist Josh Healey (Hammertime).
They’ll be judged by a dazzling trio, including San Francisco Chronicle’s legendary columnist Leah Garchik, ZYZZYVA’s hotshot editor Oscar Villalon, and the World’s Greatest Entertainer Bud E Luv!
Hosted by LDM creator Todd Zuniga & LDM SF executive producer Alia Volz.
